Hull City have been credited with interest in a highly-rated Cameroon international
Hull City are reportedly on the trail of highly-rated Lorient midfielder Arthur Avom.
A 14-cap Cameroon international, Avom’s stock is high after a strong season in Ligue 1 with Lorient. He made 31 appearances for the club, who finished 10th in the table.
Avom has one year remaining on his contract and a report has suggested he could be handed a Premier League opportunity.

Hull City linked with highly-rated Lorient midfielder
According to Sky Sports, the 21-year-old has emerged as a target for Premier League newcomers Hull.
Lorient are said to value Avom between £8.5m and £10m, with even the latter figure one all Premier League clubs are likely to view as affordable.
He may be withib reach, but Hull are not the only club supposedly eyeing a move for the talented prospect.
There is thought to be interest from two other Premier League outfits, as well as clubs in France, Belgium and Turkey.
Hull City in the transfer market
Hull need to be ambitious in the transfer market but the reality is they cannot match the financial power of many rivals.
To compensate for this, they will need to box clever and be incredibly shrewd with their forays into the market.

Regarding recruitment, Hull boss Sergej Jakirovic said: "We will try to add better players than we have right now. This is also our job. I think the main players who brought us to the Premier League can stay. They can help us as well.
"We just have to add better players than we have. I think Sunderland's recipe is great. They brought dynamic players with the pace and speed. So you can build this type of team."
Space for incomings in the Hull squad has been cleared, with Ivor Pandur and Kyle Joseph among those to have been sold.
