Rangers are set to accelerate moves to sign Partizan Belgrade's Vanja Dragojevic and Tromso's Jens Hjerto-Dahl, as they look to complete a midfield double deal for new manager Derek McInnes, according to TEAMtalk.
Dragojevic enjoyed an excellent season for Partizan last term, making 41 appearances and scoring four goals across all competitions. Meanwhile, Hjerto-Dahl has gotten off to a flying start in the Norwegian top flight in 2026, contributing to seven goals in 12 appearances thus far.
The Scottish giants expect to land the Serbian youngster for around £5million, while the Norwegian prodigy has expressed his desire to leave Tromso and complete a switch to Glasgow.
World Cup star Nico Raskin is attracting interest from Real Betis, although Rangers believe this prospective double deal should provide them with adequate replacements for the Belgian.
Rangers Looking to Seal Double Deal

After missing out on the Scottish Premiership title once again, Rangers have moved aggressively in the transfer market.
The Glaswegian outfit are eager to provide McInnes with as much star quality as possible, so that the former Hearts boss can deliver a first league title to Ibrox since 2021. Ivan Pandur, Ross McCrorie, Dan Neil and prolific striker Lawrence Shankland have all arrived, and now the attention has turned to strengthening McInnes' midfield department.
TEAMtalk report that a double swoop is on the cards, with Dragojevic and Hjerto-Dahl being identified as primary targets.
Partizan and Rangers remain locked in talks over the former, with the Gers now optimistic about securing a £5 million deal in the coming days. An offer worth in the region of around £3.8million was initially rejected for the 20-year-old, but an agreement is now said to be 'not far away'.
Despite his age, Dragojevic has already captained Partizan, and it's understood that this leadership is part of what attracted McInnes to the player, as the Scotsman looks to cultivate a resilient squad.
Meanwhile, the move for Hjerto-Dahl isn't quite as advanced, although the 20-year-old has informed Tromso of his wish to move to Ibrox, which is expected to accelerate a potential deal. Rangers are in contact with the Norwegian's representatives.

That said, while Betis have been cited as the team leading the race for the 25-year-old, they still face competition from the likes of Atalanta, Bologna and Hull City for his signature.
Rangers believe a record sale could materialise for Raskin. They expect to receive offers of around £25million for their prized possession, which would usurp the £20million they garnered for Calvin Bassey back in 2022.
