Juventus have been linked with moves for players such as Franck Kessie and Leon Goretzka in recent weeks, but a report suggests the club are not currently prioritising the signing of a new midfielder.
The Bianconeri already possess several talented midfielders within their squad, and the club believes there is still room for improvement in that area. However, Juventus are aware that any further additions may depend on changes to the current group before new arrivals can be considered.
The club have also welcomed back Arthur Melo and Douglas Luiz following their respective loan spells. Their return has increased the number of midfield options available and added another factor to the club’s planning ahead of the new season.
Midfield not the immediate priority
Luciano Spalletti is expected to assess both Arthur and Luiz before any decisions are made regarding further midfield recruitment. His evaluation could play a significant role in determining whether Juventus seek reinforcements in that department.
