Nottingham Forest have been handed a significant boost in their hopes of landing Sevilla left-back Joaquin Oso. The defender is wanted by several European clubs this summer after his impressive first team breakthrough.
Forest have been mentioned as one of the clubs keen to sign the 23-year-old, with Tottenham, Newcastle and Fiorentina all already making enquiries.
Reports in Spain last week suggested that Oso had been made available for €10m, despite previous mentions of a €20m release clause. Vamos Mi Sevilla previously reported that Oso had been told to sign a new contract or accept a move.

Now, Diario de Sevilla have added a further development by claiming that Sevilla are now looking to receive a fee for their full-back. Oso has just one year left on his contract and this window is their final chance to sell him at a fair price.
The La Liga side are said to be considering three or four offers that are currently on the table, one from an unnamed Premier League side and one from Fiorentina.
TuttoMercatoWeb, in Italy, have reported that Fiorentina are looking to beat Forest to the transfer with an offer valued at around €12m with a sell-on clause.
Oliver Glasner has a number of options at left-back with Neco Williams and Luca Netz. However, Netz has only made seven appearances since his move from Borussia Monchengladbach and Williams has strong interest from Manchester United and Newcastle.
