Leeds United's pursuit of Shea Charles has not gone unnoticed, most significantly, by the player as the Whites push to get a deal done.
Two offers have already gone in for the Southampton defensive midfielder, with Saints understandably playing hardball as they try to get the best price they can for their prized asset. Charles has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs, with like likes of Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Fulham all credited with an interest.
That interest has only cemented Southampton's belief they can get the £30m price they set for Charles, but with Leeds' offer some way off that at £23m, there is work to do and perhaps a bit of movement needed by both parties.

According to the Daily Mail, talks which stepped up on Friday were due to continue into the weekend as Leeds push to try and get a deal done in order to add to the addition of Harry Wilson last week.
What will encourage the Whites and aid in their pursuit of the Northern Ireland international, is the suggestion Charles has made it clear that he favours a move to Elland Road at this stage.
Leeds appear determined to try and get a deal done and while the initial price may not rise much further, there are add-ons that can sweeten the deal for Southampton, with the clubs reportedly trying to hammer out a deal this weekend.
Leeds have continued to explore their options throughout the Charles talks, with the likes of Madela Keita also on a list of potential deals for a midfielder, but it is understood Charles remains the only one Leeds have an offer in for.
