Leeds United under-18s players’ player of the season has signed his first pro deal.
Young midfielder Jack Morris has signed his first professional contract with Leeds United, fresh from an award-winning season with the club’s under-18s.
Morris, 18, was named last season’s under-18s Players’ Player of the Season after a campaign that also featured four outings for the club’s under-21s side.
An attacking midfielder, the teenager has now put pen to paper on his first professional contract, penning terms on a one-year deal that runs until 2027.
A statement from Leeds United read: “Leeds United are pleased to announce Academy midfielder Jack Morris has signed a first professional contract with the club.
‘The attacking midfielder’s performances were also recognised by his peers’
“The versatile 18-year-old has put pen to paper on a one-year deal that will see him continue his development at Thorp Arch until 2027.
“Last campaign, Morris made 23 appearances across all competitions which included four outings for Scott Gardner’s Under-21s side.
“The attacking midfielder’s performances were also recognised by his peers as he was named the U18s’ 2025/26 Players’ Player of the Season.
“Everyone at Leeds United would like to congratulate Jack and we look forward to seeing him in action across the upcoming season.”
