GdS: Juventus consider Milan defender Tomori as replacement for Gatti

Fikayo Tomori has been heavily linked with a move back to the Premier League, but according to a report, it’s possible that his departure journey could be a lot shorter than that.

In recent days, the centre-back has been linked with a return to the Premier League, including to Newcastle. It certainly makes sense as he’s English, which is lucrative to the PL clubs, and Milan know that they can get good money for such a move.

Juventus are keeping tabs

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (see photo below), though, his next destination might be a domestic one. Juventus are looking to rebuild their defence and one idea is to sell Federico Gatti, which would help boost their budget.

With the money made, or rather capital gain registered, the Bianconeri could make a move for Tomori. He’s on their list and the sporting director Ricky Massara certainly knows the defender well, having been part of the team that signed him at Milan.
