Real Madrid’s physical trainer Antonio Pintus will remain at his role even after José Mourinho’s arrival, according to reports in the Spanish press. Pintus made his return to the club after Madrid sacked Xabi Alonso last winter and the board wanted to keep him around.
The opposite has happened with goalkeeper trainer Luis Llopis. Mourinho wanted to appoint his own person for that role and Llopis will keep working for the club in a new position, per those same reports.
It definitely looks like Real Madrid and Mourinho reached some kind of agreement about the coaching staff. The Portuguese coach probably wanted to appoint his own physical trainer but the club decided that they wanted Pintus to take care of that role.
