In a recent report, journalist Graeme Bailey stated that Arsenal are keeping tabs on the situation of Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior. It has been claimed that the Gunners are facing competition in the form of Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool in the race to sign the Brazil international this off-season.
Vinicius Junior’s Impressive Form In La Liga
Vinicius Jr. enjoyed a good run of form at the Madrid club in the previous campaign when he put in a string of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 26-year-old scored 22 times and earned 14 assists in 53 appearances for Los Blancos last season across all competitions.
The Brazilian talent is currently among the most talented wide players in La Liga. Hence, it is no wonder that the Gunners are hoping to get him on board this summer.
His current deal at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium will run out at the end of next season, which could open the door for Arsenal to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Will Vinicius Jr. Be A Dream Option For Arsenal?
Vinicius Jr. has got the pace to cause a lot of headaches for his marker out in the wide areas. He has got the vision to engineer a few promising chances for his teammates in the final third and is an excellent dribbler with the ball as well.
The Brazilian sensation can shoot the ball with power from long range and can contribute by scoring and creating his fair share of goals from the flanks. Vinicius Jr. is primarily a left-winger but can also operate as a centre-forward if told to do so. However, there are some concerns over whether he would be able to maintain his good form in the Premier League if the Gunners manage to snap him up this summer.
Vinicius Jr. would undoubtedly enhance the quality of Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta’s frontline. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Emirates Stadium next season.
At 26, Vinicius Jr. has got his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a dream option for the North London club to consider in this transfer window. Thus, Arteta should focus on stepping up his efforts to land the Brazilian wing wizard this off-season.
