Toffees among clubs alerted as Barcelona prepare to sell highly-rated winger

**[Everton](https://ReadEverton.com) have been informed of the availability of Roony Bardghji, with Barcelona said to be ready to sanction a sale of the Swedish winger this summer, according to [The Hard Tackle](https://thehardtackle.com/transfer-news/2026/07/12/barcelona-ready-to-sell-roony-bardghji-amid-premier-league-links/), citing a report from TEAMtalk.**

Leeds United are understood to be among the strongest pursuers, with Aston Villa and Everton also alerted to the 20-year-old’s availability as Barcelona look to move him on.

Bardghji arrived at Camp Nou only last summer, joining from FC Copenhagen in a deal worth around £2m that was widely regarded as smart business by the Spanish giants. Opportunities proved limited in his debut campaign, however, and he finished the 2025-26 season with six goal contributions.

For Everton, the appeal is clear. David Moyes’ side have lacked depth in wide areas throughout the summer, a point underlined by the club’s continued interest in Newcastle’s Jacob Murphy and the ongoing uncertainty over Jack Grealish’s future.

A younger option with genuine pedigree, even one yet to fully establish himself at the highest level, would address the same need but from a different angle.

Nothing in the report suggests talks are advanced, and Everton are one of several Premier League clubs said to have been made aware of Bardghji’s situation rather than a frontrunner for his signature. Leeds’ interest appears to be the most developed at this stage.

It is, for now, an early marker rather than a nailed-on target — but one worth watching given Everton’s need for competition on the flanks, and the fact that Barcelona’s stance on a sale appears to have softened only in the past few days.
