Andoni Iraola has been the Liverpool head coach for six weeks, but now the hard work really begins.
The Reds took most people by surprise when they took the decision to sack Arne Slot at the end of May, following a difficult and dismal campaign when they ended up trailing in fifth place in the Premier League having been backed by many to successfully defend the title they won in 2024/25.
Iraola was quickly appointed following the dismissal of Slot, with the Basque's style of play during three seasons at Bournemouth - where he was hired by Reds sporting director Richard Hughes - seen as one of the key reasons for his arrival.
Getting Liverpool back to playing front foot, aggressive football is seen as a key goal for Iraola as he begins his new job, but how will he going about doing that?
As he faces the media for the first time from 11am, including our own Paul Gorst, stay with us for every word from the new Liverpool head coach.
