Barcelona open to summer exit
That’s according to Monday’s edition of Sport, who covers the latest on Aston Villa, Leeds United, Sunderland, Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion.
Barcelona took the 20-year-old from FC Copenhagen for around €2m plus bonuses in July 2025.
The right winger played 842 minutes from 28 matches, managing two goals and four assists.
He’s behind Lamine Yamal in the pecking order, meaning Roony Bardghji’s situation won’t improve next season. Therefore, the Sweden international has asked to leave in this window.
Both the attacker and his camp held talks with the La Liga winners in June, after which his agent has been working to find a new club. He’s open to leaving on loan or a sale with a buyback option.
Hansi Flick’s side are now prioritising the latter as it’ll allow them to raise funds and also maintain control over the player.
The manager prefers he moves elsewhere but won’t oppose his stay. However, the player has to settle for a limited role at the Camp Nou. The exit seems likely and he has to pick his next destination.

Sport claim five Premier League sides have made approaches to ask about him. Leeds United, Sunderland, Brighton & Hove Albion and most recently Aston Villa have all made approaches.
Juventus, Marseille, Ajax, FC Porto and unnamed Spanish clubs are also keen on signing Roony Bardghji.
He has more 10 offers, without the newspaper specifying whether Fulham, Brighton and three other Premier League sides have submitted proposals.
The winger should make a decision soon as Sport claims ‘final summit for Bardghji’. The transfer summit is likely to decide his next club and the transfer formula.
