From Monday, July 20, the pub will temporarily close its doors while work on the expansion gets under way.
According to the pub's operators, the new upstairs space will feature a dedicated bar, large screens showing all the sporting action, a function room and private hire space, as well as an area for live music, comedy and more.
The Moot Hall Arms will reopen on August 21, just in time for the new Premier League season.
Announcing the expansion, landlady Claire said: “If you think The Moot is already the home of Leeds United supporters, just wait until you see what’s coming.
“The new upstairs bar is going to be more LUFC than we ever thought possible, packed with features that every Leeds fan is going to love.
“It’s going to be an absolute talking point and something you’ll struggle to find anywhere else.”
