As reported by TEAMtalk, Aston Villa are expected to accelerate their move for Bergvall following the departure of Tielemans.
The 20-year-old has told Tottenham that he wants to explore other opportunities this summer but their £45m asking price has so far provided an obstacle between himself and the exit door.

Now that Villa have raised funds through the sale of their own star, though, they are expected to step up their chase for the Swedish star this summer.
Aston Villa should splash out on Bergvall
Emery's midfield seemed the most settled area. Amadou Onana, Boubacar Kamara and Tielemans provided a foundation to build around. Since the end of last season, though, Onana has suffered an ACL injury and Tielemans has headed towards the exit door - leaving Kamara as the last-man standing.
The arrival of Manzambi should help calm the storm, but Villa still need one more option and that should be Bergvall. The Spurs star is still so full of potential and makes up for his inability to replace Tielemans' passing range with his work out of possession.
It's also worth pointing out that Bergvall still progresses play to a high standard. He just does so through his dribbling ability - completing 62% of his take-ons last season - rather than his passing range.
