Manchester City are showing interest in Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi.
The 18-year-old has just finished impressing at the World Cup with Morocco.
_Sky Sports News_ has been reporting since early this year that Bouaddi is on the list of targets at **Manchester United**.
But City also want to add another midfielder to their ranks after signing Elliot Anderson for £116m.
There could be several players coming in and moving out at the Etihad this summer under new manager Enzo Maresca.
In midfield, there is interest from other clubs in **Tijjani Reijnders, Mateo Kovacic** and **Nico Gonzalez**.
Real Madrid also have **Rodri** on their list for a new midfielder but City do not want to sell him and, instead, give him a new contract.
