19 Newcastle United players have reported for pre-season training this week.
Nineteen players have reported to the club's Benton training centre this week — now officially known as The Knox — with many expected to feature in Saturday's behind-closed-doors friendly against National League North side Darlington.
The likes of Lewis Hall, Sven Botman, Joelinton, Joe Willock, Jacob Ramsey, Jacob Murphy, Will Osula and Harvey Barnes were put through their paces outdoors, while Lewis Miley and Tino Livramento were among those present in the gym as they step up their respective returns from injury.

Miley fractured his fibula in a freak training ground incident in May, while an injury-hit campaign for Livramento was compounded when he was forced to withdraw from England’s World Cup squad due to a calf injury that required surgery. The pair are expected to return at some point in pre-season.
There were also call-ups for under-21s quartet Aidan Harris, Alex Murphy, Leo Shahar and Sean Neave, with several senior players still missing due to their participation in the World Cup.
Among the familiar faces were two new ones, as summer signings Ewen Jaouen and Sean Steur met their new teammates for the first time.
Jaouen, who joined from Stade de Reims for £18million, took part in some individual sessions at The Knox last week but is now training alongside his fellow goalkeepers. Steur, meanwhile, had already completed two weeks of pre-season training with Ajax before moving to Tyneside for £23million last week.
Newcastle’s other new signing, Bazoumana Toure, will join Yoane Wissa, Malick Thiaw, Anthony Elanga, Nick Woltemade, Bruno Guimaraes and Dan Burn in linking up at a later date after being given extra time to rest after competing at the World Cup.
