Tom Holland admitted that Erling Haaland completely ignored him after the actor invited the superstar striker out for dinner.
The Manchester City star has been one of the most-talked about players on the planet during the World Cup after scoring seven times across the tournament.

With Norway making it to the quarter-finals, it led to the rest of the world becoming obsessed with the Premier League forward and his personality.
He's already made headlines despite Norway's exit from the competition, as he landed back in Oslo and was pictured with a $750 (£560) raccoon holding a whisky bottle, as he left the plane.
He has become one of the most searched athletes during the tournament, and a trend has gone viral on social media with girls sharing videos asking the question: "Do I look like Erling Haaland?"
Even Spider-Man is obsessed with Haaland, as Holland was asked on the 'Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon' whether reports of the striker ignoring his message were true, as he promoted his new film 'The Odyssey'.

The Bafta winner joked: "Yes, that is exactly the type of humbling experience that is important for actors.
"You know, they're like, 'I'll text him. I'll take him to dinner.' Not even a response. Not an excuse. Not, 'I'm busy tonight.' Nothing."
He explained what prompted the message, as Holland said he was attending the Monaco Grand Prix and spotted the Norwegian in a hospitality suite nearby.
He said: "I was at Monaco. I was watching Lewis race, and I saw him. He was like a hospitality suite across from me, and I just thought I'd shoot my shot.
"I sent him a text. I never imagined I’d talk about it on live television, but here we are!"
When the host asked if the invitation was still open, Holland replied: "I don’t think he’d have dinner with me after the other day. He’s incredible, he’s an absolute legend."
Haaland recently shared his side of the story on Norwegian television, admitting: "This is a bit embarrassing, to be completely honest.

"We were in Monaco at the Formula 1, and then I got a message. I don’t watch movies much, so I have no idea who people are.
"There was one asking if we could go out for dinner, but I’d never seen him, so I didn’t bother to answer. I didn’t want to answer an unknown person."
The 25-year-old was among the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi in the race for the Golden Boot, but will unfortunately miss out.
Haaland came off the back of an amazing domestic season where he won the Premier League Golden Boot for the third time in four years.
Despite Norway ultimately losing 2-1 to England in the final eight, Haaland was able to rewrite history with his country on the international stage.
Following his exit, he said: "Quite nice, I would say so. I’m quite happy with my life. I’m enjoying it. I’m in a good place.

"I mean, it’s kind of difficult to take in the kind of show or rollercoaster that we have been in now for the last six weeks.
"There has been so much pressure, so much feeling. It has been unreal, honestly. It has been the best weeks and the best journey I’ve had in my entire life.

"It’s hard to take it in right now; you get a little empty. If I try to think quickly through these 40 days, it has been absolutely insane, the coolest thing I’ve ever been a part of.
"And I think all Norwegians also really appreciate it. I hope it has brought people together. We should be proud but at the same time, learn from this."
