Douglas Luiz is back in Turin after failing to secure a permanent move away from Juventus following loan spells at two different clubs in the Premier League last season.

He also explained that the midfielder could remain at Juventus if the manager believes he can make a positive contribution.
He said: “There are two priorities for Juventus. There is the goalkeeper, obviously, also a solution to be found on the way out for Di Gregorio and the striker. Then we will update you on this. Both Arthur and Douglas Luiz are included in the various loans. Douglas Luiz will be evaluated alongside Arthur, but Douglas Luiz will be evaluated more carefully by Spalletti upon his return. He could also stay if Spalletti, in short, decides to keep him, if Douglas Luiz proves he can stay within this black and white squad, but in short we will then evaluate together, we will tell you the updates on the matter”.
