The 20-year-old made the move to Suffolk on loan in January this year and has now re-joined the Blues on another loan deal until the end of the 2026/27 campaign.
Baker scored once and made two assists across her nine appearances during the second half of the season as the Tractor Girls secured their WSL 2 status.
The winger came through Leicester City's academy, making her debut at age 16 against Manchester City in 2021/22, becoming the club’s youngest-ever goalscorer when she scored against Sunderland in 2022/23.
“I’m delighted to be back at Ipswich after a really enjoyable time here last season," Baker said after her return to Ipswich was confirmed.
“The ambition and drive of this club is one of the big reasons which made me want to return and I’m really excited to get going in the new season.”
Sean Burt, Town Women’s Technical Director, added: "We’re really pleased to have Ava back with us for the new season. She settled into the group quickly last year and showed exactly what she’s capable of whenever she was called upon.
"Ava is a player with real quality and a fantastic attitude, and she’s someone who is always looking to improve. We’re excited to continue working with her and have no doubt she’ll play an important role for us this season."
