Acun Ilicali says being threatened with legal action by Pogoń Szczecin owner Alex Haditaghi is not something that concerns him, after the Canadian went on a social media rant, criticising the East Yorkshire club.
After the Polish outfit initially confirmed Okan Özkan was leaving to join Hull City as sporting director with a glowing departure note, Haditaghi launched into a rant about the Tigers and Ilicali and their approach.
Haditaghi threatened City with legal action, but Ilicali says his opposite number should instead focus on his own situation, and why the former Fenerbahce transfer guru decided to leave.

"Threatening me only makes me laugh," Ilicali told Hull Live. "I only laugh, and I find it strange behaviour, like informing UEFA, the European Union, everywhere. My friend, somebody didn't want to work with you. He just left you. Try to accept it. Don't be too romantic. Don't go to tears.
"If somebody doesn't want to work with me, I would say, 'Come on, my friend, shake hands. I wish the best for you.' What are you trying to do? Just be calm, relaxed, calm down.
"He's (Haditaghi) just saying that he's going to take me to court for what? What did we do? We just gave him damage? I'm not sure that is very normal behaviour, so I wish the best for him and good health."
Özkan is set to be appointed imminently as the replacement for Jared Dublin, who was sacked by the Turkish businessman last Monday after a disagreement over the American's contract following promotion to the Premier League.
"Don't forget we have a big recruitment team, and Martin Hodge is the head of recruitment, so he has been working on recruitment for three months," Ilicali explained. "He had Plan A and Plan B for the Championship and Premier League.
"Now we are in the Premier League and 'Hodgy' is completely focused on the new boys and he's bringing us options, and we are discussing with our 'Brain Team'. Fans love this wording, I know!
"Our football mind is completely focused on eliminating others for the best options. Jared was a very important part of this team, of course, but I always say nobody is replaceable. The team was in the Premier League before me, so I'm not unreplaceable."
