Hull City have confirmed that they will face European opposition to round off their pre-season campaign, with Sergej Jakirovic's men facing Eintracht Frankfurt and Nice.
It was revealed on Monday that the Tigers would face three games against Turkish opposition to kick-start their summer programme in Slovenia and then Istanbul, and they'll finish with a trip to Germany and a home meeting with the Ligue 1 side.
The game against Eintracht Frankfurt on August 8 will not take place at their stadium, but instead, at the Sportpark in Dreieich, which is the home of the club's Under-21s and Women's teams.
Adi Hütter's men finished eighth in the Bundesliga last term, narrowly missing out on European football and will provide a stern test for the Tigers on home soil.
A week later, on Saturday, August 15. City will conclude their preparations for the visit of Manchester United on the opening weekend of the Premier League season with a visit from Olivier Pantaloni's Nice. They escaped relegation by beating Saint-Étienne in the play-offs. Both games against Eintracht Frankfurt and Nice will be open to the public, and ticket details will be confirmed in due course.
