With Lucas Digne heading out of Aston Villa, they need a viable replacement soon. Estupinan would be a natural successor, as he impressed in the Premier League for Brighton and is also younger than the Frenchman.
The 28-year-old is seeking a career kickstart after a frustrating spell in Italy. This could play in the favour of Aston Villa, especially given his price.
