The Seagulls’ under-21s will visit the Sussex Transport Community Stadium on Tuesday, July 28 (7.30pm).
That is less than a fortnight ahead of the fifth-tier kick-off, which sees Rebels make the long trek to Carlisle United.
Both teams celebrated titles last season, Worthing topping National League South and Albion under-21s winning the Premier League 2 play-offs.
Worthing regularly played Albion in the first friendly of the summer in the Seagulls’ Withdean days.
While those times are long since gone, there will be plenty of interest in the under-21s as the season takes shape and loan deals are being finalised.
Tickets for home and away fans are priced £10 for adults, with concessions available, and can be bought online via worthingfc.com.
Rebels also host QPR’s academy on Tuesday, July 21 (7.30pm) and have Saturday dates at home to Bracknell and Horsham on July 25 and August 1 respectively (both 3pm).
Meanwhile, travelling Worthing fans have been told the new fifth-tier adventure will get up and running at 4.30am.
That is the departure time for the supporters’ coach to Carlisle on the opening day.
Places on board for the 748-mile round trip to Cumbria are available now, priced £79.
Two early-season home games have been brought forward to 12.30pm kick-offs and will be shown live on DAZN.
The matches affected are against Wealdstone on Saturday, August 22, and Barrow on Saturday, September 12.
Albion under-21s now have dates for their group games in the EFL Trophy.
They will visit Northampton Town on Tuesday, August 18 (7pm), Gillingham on Tuesday, October 13 (7pm) and Cambridge United on Tuesday, November 3 (7pm).
