Nottingham Forest’s new home shirt seems to have been revealed online after an apparent error by Adidas.
The brand new Nottingham Forest home kit for the forthcoming 2026/27 Premier League season appears to have been leaked online ahead of its official release – and it may have been the result of a mistake by kit manufacturers Adidas.
Forest fans discovered that they were briefly able to purchase the new jersey on Adidas’ online store before the club had announced the new kit or undertaken any promotional activity surrounding its launch. The apparent error was rectified, with the Forest club store no longer accessible shortly after the kit was put up for sale – but the result is that we now appear to have images of the new shirt ahead of schedule.
What Nottingham Forest’s new 2026/27 home kit looks like – according to leaks
The social media post above is one of several which purport to show the new kit on sale on Adidas’ own website – 3 Added Minutes has not been able to independently verify the leak, but it seems likely that Nottingham Forest will become the second Premier League club to have a new shirt unveiled due to a blunder after Everton’s new away shirt was unveiled on a seemingly premature billboard in Liverpool.
Assuming the images show the genuine kit, it’s a classic red number with a two-tone pattern running right across the shirt, with no trim on the v-neck collar or sleeves and only the traditional three sleeve stripes present on most Adidas kits providing a pop of white.
The club crest and manufacturer’s logo both appear in white on the chest, while the seemingly accidental release of the kit didn’t include a front-of-shirt or sleeve sponsor. The shorts are white with red stripes and trim at the base.
At the time of writing, Nottingham Forest had not acknowledged the potential leak and nor had they released any promotional material which might confirm the new design. There is still no news of the away or third kits, with earlier leaks of several Adidas kits for the coming season notably not including any Forest shirts.

This is the fourth home kit that Adidas have produced for Nottingham Forest since taking the job as manufacturer back over from Macron in 2023, and they’ve yet again decided against taking too many creative risks – this is a simple, classical shirt which is unlikely to rattle too many cages among supporters.
There was still a fairly muted response from fans on social media following the leak, with few praising the new kit and several fans describing it variously as “ordinary” and “disappointing.” It seems unlikely that Adidas’ latest effort will go down as a club classic.
Most of the frustration, however, was aimed at the price of the new shirt, with adult versions of the jersey listed for sale at £85 before they were removed from view. Some supporters seem unlikely to splash out at that price point even if they’re more keen on the new look.
