Community Shield ticket info: Arsenal v Man City

We are pleased to share ticketing information for the FA Community Shield against Manchester City at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Sunday, August 16 at 3 pm (UK).

We have received an initial allocation of 25,218 for this fixture, which will be located on the South side of the stadium.

Ticket price categories will be sold on a first come, first served basis and are subject to availability.

The Disability Access ticket price includes a complimentary personal assistant ticket, which is subject to eligibility.

Information for Disability Access members

Members purchasing concession-priced tickets must bring ID on the day of the game, as you may be required to produce this on entry to the Principality Stadium.

Sales Windows

All sales are online, including Disability Access ticket sales. If Disability Access Members need to speak to a member of the team, please call 020 7619 5000 (Option 2). Deaf supporters, who use British Sign Language (BSL) can contact the Disability Liaison Team by using Sign Video BSL Interpreter service.

Sales Window 1

Platinum and Gold season ticket holders who have 10+ away points. Ticket purchases of up to six members per booking.

Members who qualify for Sales Window 1 are guaranteed a ticket providing they purchase within the designated sales window.

Window opens: Monday 20 July, 1 pm

Window closes: Tuesday 21 July, 1pm

Sales Window 2

All other Platinum and Gold season ticket holders. All Silver and Red Members with 10+ away points.

Sales Window 2 will operate as a ballot, with ticket applications of up to six members, with one match ticket per season ticket holder.

Ballot opens: Wednesday 22 July, 12 pm

Ballot closes: Friday 24 July, 12 pm

Please note that anyone who purchases in the first window will not be eligible to enter this ballot - Ballot Guide

Successful entrants will be eligible to purchase within the following window:

Window opens: Monday 27 July, 1 pm

Window closes: Tuesday 28 July, 1 pm

Those members who purchase tickets in Sales Window 1 will not have access to enter the ballot with friends or family who qualify to purchase tickets in Sales Window 2, so it is recommended that if you wish to purchase tickets together, you must wait for Sales Window 2.

We are unfortunately unable to relocate any bookings purchased in different sales windows to enable groups from different phases to sit together.

Please note, any members who purchase a ticket in Sales Window 1 will be removed should they enter the ballot along with their group.

Successful

Members who register for the ballot as a group will be balloted together and the whole group will either be successful or placed on standby. If your application is successful, the lead member will be sent a successful ballot confirmation.

You will then be able to select seats from within an available area (price band) via a first-come, first-served basis during this sales phase.

If your application is successful, the lead member will be sent a ballot confirmation and will also be contacted separately by email on Friday 24 July.

On Standby

If your application is on standby, your application will remain within the system. Should uptake in the previous sales windows not fulfil our allocation, or any further allocation be received from the FA, all those who are on standby will be sent an email and will have the opportunity to purchase on a first–come, first-served basis within Sales Window 2A.

Sales Window 2

Should tickets remain after Sales Window 2 all members on Standby will be invited to purchase within this window.

The lead member will be contacted by email on Tuesday 28 July.

Window opens: Wednesday 29 July, 1 pm

Window closes: Thursday 30 July, 1 pm

Sales Window 3

All Silver, Silver Cannon, Silver Senior and Junior Gunner Members.

Sales Window 3 will operate as a ballot. Ticket applications of up to six members - Ballot Guide

Ballot opens: Friday 31 July, 12 pm

Ballot closes: Monday 3 August, 12pm

Those members who have purchased tickets within Sales Windows 1, 2 and 2A will not have access to enter the ballot with friends or family who qualify for Sales Window 3, so it is recommended that if you want to purchase tickets together, you must wait for the Sales Window 3 Ballot Results.

Ticket Delivery

All tickets for this game will be digital, and will be downloadable via the Ticket Hub within the Arsenal app.

Tickets will be available to download during the week before the game.

Any supporters who hold a physical membership card for home matches at Emirates Stadium will be contacted by email in the week leading up to the match with details regarding their method of entry for the game.

Ticket Exchange/Ticket Transfer

Please note that there will be no Ticket Exchange or Ticket Transfer services for this fixture.

Coach Travel

Regulations

Supporters under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder over the age of 18 to enter the Principality Stadium. Children under the age of 2 are not permitted entry into the stadium.

Please note that small bags are permitted, provided they are no larger than 35cm x 40cm x 19cm or are a standard handbag size.

There are no bag storage facilities available at the stadium, so supporters should plan accordingly if travelling to Cardiff with larger bags.
