Rachel McLauchlan has completed a permanent move to Newcastle United, subject to the usual regulatory processes.
The 29-year-old Scotland international joined Albion two years ago from Glasgow Rangers and went on to make 48 appearances scoring two goals.
She has operated at full-back and also in more attacking areas when needed and as impressed as an intelligent tactician and user of the ball.
Albion head coach Dario Vidosic said: “Rachel has been a key figure within the squad since joining the club two years ago.
“She has always given 100% every time she has represented the badge and has played an important part in our recent success, helping us achieve our highest-ever league finish last year before reaching the FA Cup final in May.
“We wish her nothing but the very best as she moves back north.”
Nadine Noordam, Sophie Baggaley and on-loan Rosa Kafaji have also departed but there have been five additions so far, headed by ex-Arsenal midfielder Lia Walti from Juventus, with more expected to follow.
