Leeds United went from four goalkeepers last season, to just two at the start of pre-season this summer. A lot has gone sideways for the club over the last few weeks.
Going into the summer, Leeds knew that some of their players would be out of contract.

But they did give Karl Darlow a new contract. The veteran turned that down in favour of a move to Manchester United. Per club sources, Darlow was not very keen on not being number one next season – something he was informed of when the contract was offered.
The only good news in recent days is Alex Cairns signing a new deal to stay this season.
Illan Meslier was one of the first names out of the door, as the Whites confirmed that they would not be giving the Frenchman a new contract. Meslier was snapped up by Arsenal in a shock move.
Leeds United line up replacement for first team star
Lucas Perri remains one of the two first team goalkeepers at Elland Road.
And even with the Brazilian, his place next season is not guaranteed. Reports from Italy this week have said that Torino have been in talks over a deal for the 28-year old.
Perri is open to leaving after losing his place under Daniel Farke.
Leeds are set to allow him to leave this summer, with Torino already in pole position. However, the club want to sort out a replacement first beofre anything happens.
The Whites have been in the market for a new goalkeeper these last few weeks.
According to journalist Konstantinos Lianos, Leeds United are among multiple Premier League clubs pursuing Olympiacos’ Konstantinos Tzolakis. Aston Villa, Brighton, Hull City and Coventry are also interested.

Club need to work on adding another goalkeeper
It has been reported that Perri will be allowed to leave if the club can find a replacement.
Leeds already have a huge hole to fill; Karl Darlow was outstanding in the second half of the season. His departure left the club scrambling to find new targets, and Perri following will disrupt plans.
So far, many names have been linked with a move to Elland Road, but there is nothing concrete.
Regardless of everything going on, Leeds still have to add two goalkeepers if they do not want to be short in that department heading into next season.
