Manager Stephen Robinson pinpointed the 33-year-old’s “character and professionalism” after signing the 6ft 3in former RB Leipzig, Schalke and Luzern keeper, who won the Swiss Cup in 2021.
Muller said: “I hope to bring quality to the team through my experience and mentality. As a goalkeeper, you know the moments when you have to stay calm and help to lead the team.
“We have to be one team – the players and the supporters in the stands. I hope they will see that I will give my all. They will see that I love to celebrate with them. I want to see a lot of fireworks this season. I hope we have plenty to celebrate and we’ll see what the season brings.”
Rangers talks advance
Rangers are in reportedly in advanced talks to sign Partizan Belgrade captain Vanja Dragojevic.
According to Sky Sports, Ibrox chiefs are hopeful the 20-year-old midfilelder will become the club's seventh summer signing in a £4million deal.

Dragojevic, 20, has two caps for Serbia and is already considered one of the top defensive midfielders in the country.
Rangers boss Derek McInnes has already bolstered his midfield options with the additions of Cammy Devlin and Dan Neil this summer, while Lawrence Shankland, Ross McCrorie, Ben Godfrey and Ivor Pandur have also joined the Ibrox club.
Celtic linked with son of Chelsea icon
Celtic are being linked with a move for France Under-19 winger Aaron Malouda.
The 20-year-old, who is the son of former France and Chelsea icon Florent Malouda, scored nine goals and contributed four assists for Sabah FK in the Azerbaijan top flight last season following his move from LOSC Lille.
Malouda is under contract until December 2029 but unconfirmed reports in the region suggest that Celtic are interested in signing the player in a deal worth around £2m.

There is also speculation surrounding a possible Celtic move for Real Oviedo winger Haissem Hassan, who produced some impressive displays for Egypt in the World Cup.
Journalists in Spain claim that Celtic have been in contact with the club who were relegated from La Liga last season and are prepared to offer up to £6.8million to land the 24-year-old, who ranked among the top 7 per cent of wingers in Europe's top five leagues for successful dribbles.
Hearts' next signing lands
Hearts are closing in on a replacement for Craig Gordon, who has announced his retirement at the age of 43.
According to a report, Dutch goalkeeper Beau Reus is set to become the Tynecastle club's 11th summer signing after arriving in Edinburgh for a medical.
Reus, who stands at 6ft 6in, is a free agent after his contract with Belgian side SK Beveren expired.
The 24-year-old came through the ranks at AZ Alkmaar and helped Beveren to an undefeated campaign last term as they won promotion to the Belgian Pro League.
Reus will step into the void left by Gordon's departure and provide competition for Alexander Schwolow, although the German has been linked with possible move away from Hearts this summer.
