Leeds United completed their business swiftly in last year’s summer transfer window. This time around, things have gone a bit ‘slow’ for the fanbase, with just one confirmed signing.
Harry Wilson joined the club on a free transfer, signing a four-year deal.

Bosnian international Tarik Muharemovic is also on his way after a £34 million fee was agreed between both sides. The club are landing one of the top prospects from Serie A.
Jaka Bijol also joined from the Italian league, and he was a solid contributor last season.
Other targets the Whites had early in the summer window have not progressed as fast as they wanted. That includes players like Zion Suzuki, Shea Charles and Julian Brandt.
Leeds United target spotted in pre-season
Leeds United have been pursuing Southampton midfielder Shea Charles all summer.
To the 49ers, he is the main target in this transfer window. The club have completed the signing of Harry Wilson on a free transfer, and are close to sealing a move for Tarik Muharemovic.
A deal for Charles is what has been eluding them so far.
On Thursday, the Northern Ireland midfielder was involved in Southampton’s pre-season training session.
As things stand, both clubs are still in talks over a deal and nothing has been confirmed yet. But Graham Smyth revealed that Leeds are willing to be patient over this deal.

What is the latest with Shea Charles?
Leeds have already had two official bids submitted for the midfielder this summer, with Southampton rejecting both.
There is believed to be a bit of a gap in valuation between both parties. The Whites have only been willing to push their offer to around £23 million, while the Saints are holding out for £30 million.
Reports suggested that Leeds would like to get the deal done before they depart for pre-season in the US.
The club will depart in just over a week, and would like to have Shea Charles with the group when they do so. Leeds were able to reach an agreement with Harry Wilson early but only delayed the announcement.
Tarik Muharemovic’s move has also been a quick process, as the defender could be announced this week.
For some reason, the Charles transfer is dragging along with just weeks ahead of the new season. The 49ers have to get this across the line before it becomes a problem.
