Player eyed by West Ham and Wolves offered to Coventry City and two other Premier League teams

West Ham and Wolves-linked Anthony Musaba has been offered to Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City, according to journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu via X.

West Ham are said to be keen on the winger ahead of the new season along with Wolves as they look to claw themselves out of the Championship at the first time of asking under the guidance of head coach Nuno Espirito Santo. WHUFC face competition in pursuit of his signature though if they are to bring him back over to England.

Musaba, 25, only linked up with Fenerbahce in the last January transfer window and he is under contract in Istanbul until the summer of 2030 meaning he still has plenty of time left on his deal. He made 23 appearances for the Turkish Super Lig giants in the past campaign and chipped in with two goals and six assists.

In this latest update regarding his future, Sabuncuoglu has claimed via X that Musaba’s agent has offered him to newly promoted trio Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City. It remains to be seen at this stage whether any of them will lodge an offer as they all prepare for life at the top level.

West Ham latest amid Anthony Musaba latest transfer update

West Ham need to freshen up their ranks and Musaba is someone who could be worth a gamble. He would inject some serious pace into WHUFC’s options at the top end of the pitch.

The ex-Holland youth international is lighting quick and his speed can cause real issues to opposition defenders. Therefore, he could be a useful weapon for the Hammers to utilise in the next campaign.

In addition, he knows the league already following his spell at Sheffield Wednesday. He played 80 games for the Owls under the ex-boss Danny Rohl and fired 12 goals.

Musaba left Hillsborough 12 months ago to join Samsunspor before switching to Fenerbahce last winter. He has also had stints in the past with the likes of NEC Nijmegen, Cercle Brugge, SC Heerenveen and FC Metz so is well travelled around Europe and is no stranger to moving on.

The Verdict: Anthony Musaba would be worth a gamble by West Ham

West Ham need to ensure that they get their recruitment right as they look to get themselves out of the second tier. WHUFC can’t afford to stay in the Football League for too long.

Musaba would fill the bill for the Hammers and is the sort of player who is able to get fans off their seats. Wolves also appear to be in the frame though and with news Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City have been approached by his representatives, the London outfit will have to act fast in this pursuit.
