The Toffees have made it clear that signing a right-back is at the top of their priority list this summer.

David Moyes has a long list of potential targets, with Spence being one of them.

There have been reports to suggest that the 25-year-old could depart Spurs this season, with Inter Milan also another side interested.

After England's World Cup semi-final defeat to Argentina, the full-back will soon return to North London to evaluate his future with the Lilywhites.

However, Spence's recent performance for England may not be good news for Everton.

As mentioned, Inter Milan are also interested in the versatile full-back, who is open to a move to the Italian giants, though this isn't a main worry for the Toffees.

Spence was given a shock start in England's semi-final against Argentina, but it could be argued that it was the only decision Thomas Tuchel got right on the night.

The former Nottingham Forest loanee was the best player on the pitch and may have cemented his name in England squads for the foreseeable future.

Given Spence's overall success at the World Cup this summer, it's hard to see how a possible £25m bid from Everton would be met by anything other than laughter from Tottenham.

The Blues have already decided that other targets, Ben White and Raoul Bellanova, are too expensive, with the latter being reportedly valued at £40m.

Unless Everton are prepared to pay the big bucks for Spence, they can put their efforts elsewhere, as the player is soon set to make a call on his future.

Tottenham's replacement plan for Spence blown up; it affects Everton

Spence still looks likely to leave Tottenham, even after his impressive World Cup display.

Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro have been tipped to be Roberto De Zerbi's first-choice full-back's with Spence wanting regular game time.

It had appeared that Spurs were anticipating the Englishman possibly leaving the club, with Neco Williams a target to replace him.

As reported by The Telegraph on Thursday, it looks like Williams will be staying at Nottingham Forest.

Regardless, Spence was never going to make a transfer decision while at the World Cup, but is now set to sit down and decide once he gets back to England.
