Zeki Çelik has completed a move to Juventus after his contract with Roma expired.
Çelik was expected to sign a new deal with Roma, but it emerged earlier on Thursday that Juventus were close to acquiring him as a free agent after a late hijack. Now, they have announced his move.
Thus, Çelik’s four-year Roma career has officially come to an end. He made 151 appearances for the club after arriving from Lille in 2022.
The 29-year-old has signed a three-year contract with his new club.
He posted a farewell message to Roma via his social media accounts, stating: “Wearing the Roma shirt, fighting for these colours, and stepping onto the pitch in front of you has always been a tremendous honour and a source of great pride for me.”
However, he will now be lining up as a rival.
