Tottenham want to offload the star this summer amid interest.
Tottenham Hotspur have added quality to their squad since the start of the summer. There is still work to do to give Roberto De Zerbi a competitive squad for the 2026/27 season. The focus is now on adding to the forward line, as well as offloading the players surplus to the gaffer’s requirements.
There’s been speculation surrounding Richarlison’s future in the last couple of weeks. The Brazilian was the club’s top scorer in an otherwise dismal campaign, netting 12 goals in all competitions. He managed to stay relatively fit and produce some memorable moments, but with the forward entering the final year of his contract, the Spurs bosses want to cash him in this summer.
Recent reports suggest Richarlison has emerged as a surprise target for Juventus. The Serie A club have added the 29-year-old to their list of potential attacking reinforcements, with the Tottenham man’s contract situation making him an appealing option this summer.

The centre-forward is seeking a fresh start after disappointing four years in North London. Crucially, De Zerbi does not consider the Brazilian international central to his plans and regards him as a saleable asset, and the Tottenham head coach’s relationship with new Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali, who worked with De Zerbi at Sassuolo, could serve as a valuable link to any negotiation between the clubs.
However, according to a report from TEAMtalk, Richarlison is very keen to stay in England after recently obtaining his British citizenship. He is settled in the UK, loves the culture and the footballing environment and is thankful for the opportunities it has provided him both on and off the pitch.
The former Watford man wants to continue his career in the Premier League, and if Tottenham do not find an adequate replacement, they’d prefer to keep him in De Zerbi’s squad. This would ensure Tottenham’s overall squad depth remains intact for the forthcoming gruelling 2026/27 campaign.

Richarlison’s preference to continue playing in England should come as a setback for Juventus, but it could be a boost for Everton.

While the Lilywhites secured top-flight safety, links with Everton haven’t perished. The Toffees have been keeping tabs on the South American star’s situation in N17. It is worth remembering that he played a key role in keeping the Merseyside club in the Premier League during past relegation battles and is still loved by their fans.
With David Moyes eyeing a new No.9 to compete with Beto and Thierno Barry in the 2026/27 season, Everton could do well to turn to Richarlison to solve their goalscoring woes.
