Juventus continue to support Spalletti

The Bianconeri have already retained several key players and are [expected to make further additions](https://talkjuve.com/2026/07/12/juventus-is-prepared-to-improve-their-offer-to-complete-kolo-muani-move/) before the transfer window closes. At the same time, they are looking to move on players who are no longer considered important to the manager’s plans.
This strategy is designed to give Spalletti the best possible chance of enjoying a successful first season at the Allianz Stadium. Juventus hope the changes will allow the club to challenge strongly for the Serie A title after several disappointing campaigns.
Sabatini believes Spalletti has the qualities needed to guide Juventus back to the top and has expressed complete confidence in the experienced coach.
Sabatini praises Juventus manager
---------------------------------
According to [La Gazzetta dello Sport](https://www.gazzetta.it/sportweek/18-07-2026/walter-sabatini-intervista-juve-spalletti-massara-da-scudetto.shtml?refresh_ce), Sabatini was asked whether he believes Juventus can win the league title and replied: “Of course. For me Luciano is a brilliant friend, a romantic worker, indissoluble. A complex person, but not complicated. I compare him to Colonel Aureliano Buendia in One Hundred Years of Solitude, the manifesto novel of my favourite writer, Gabriel Garcia Marquez.”
When asked why he made that comparison, he added: “Because Buendia took part in 32 revolutions and failed them all, he escaped attacks and ambushes. Failure always has the aftertaste of heroism. At Roma, I watched his training sessions from the roof of Trigoria: ideas, movement, perpetual motion. At the end of the session, he needed someone to listen to him, and I was always there. As well as Massara.”
Sabatini’s comments underline the high regard in which he holds Spalletti and reflect his belief that the Juventus manager has the character, ideas and determination required to restore the club’s success.
