Manchester United are still in the midst of completing their midfield rebuild and have been 'tracking' an in-demand Croatian midfielder.
Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos were the first two new midfield signings to arrive at Old Trafford. The Red Devils forked out £83 million to hand Michael Carrick much-needed additions in the middle of the park.
United's main priority has been replacing Casemiro following the veteran Brazilian's departure. While they are thought to be preparing a £47m bid for AS Roma's Manu Kone, they have also taken a liking to another Serie A star.

United are reportedly admirers of Como's Martin Baturina and are keeping tabs on the Croat, who only joined Cesc Fabregas' side last summer. His displays during the 2025-26 campaign have impressed not only the Red Devils but also Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur.
A report from Calciomercato claims that despite the arrivals of Tielemans and Santos, the Reds have "no intention of stopping" at their signings. Whether that means they are weighing up Baturina as a potential fourth midfield signing is unclear.
Baturina is an exciting creative midfielder who played a key role in Como's UEFA Champions League qualification last season. He featured 34 times across competitions, registering eight goals and four assists for the Italian outfit.
With interest growing in the Croat, Como are believed to have placed an €80 million (£70 million) price tag on their playmaker. He joined the Serie A club from Dinamo Zagreb last July and the club's higher-ups are only willing to sell for a fee they can't refuse.

Baturina is proving to be a promising talent at the age of 23 and clearly has put the likes of United on notice. He's already earned 23 caps for Croatia and appeared in all four of their World Cup games, including scoring in a 4-2 loss to England.
It's unlikely that the Red Devils will view him as a priority, especially as his profile is more that of an attacking midfielder. Bruno Fernandes is staying put and could even sign a new deal.

Better Signing Than Tielemans: Man Utd Set to Make Move to Sign £80m Forward
Manchester United are set to make a move to sign a new winger.
Baturina therefore might be a player who is monitored next season should he stay at Como and not make a move elsewhere. The main focus for Carrick's transfer chiefs seems to be Kone who feels more of a necessity given his physicality and ability to play in defensive and central midfield.
