Manchester United have completed another signing for Michael Carrick as the Premier League giants flex their muscles in the summer transfer window.
With experienced midfielder and first team mainstay Casemiro leaving the club and £50m flop Manuel Ugarte seriously injured at the World Cup, new recruits for the engine room of Carrick's team were vital. And the Red Devils have acted accordingly, bringing in Andrey Santos from Chelsea and Aston Villa's Youri Tielemans.
Leeds goalkeeper Karl Darlow has also joined as veteran cover for Senne Lammens, following the Belgian keeper's World Cup nightmare. And now United have swooped to pinch another Premier League talent from under the nose of rivals. Here's all the latest news from Old Trafford.

Marcus Rashford is said to be "relaxed" and open about a return to United training at the conclusion of his summer holidays after claiming a bronze medal at the World Cup, reports the Mirror.
The striker has not featured for United since December 2024, though his next move has appeared unclear since Barcelona chose not to activate their £26m purchase option following his loan spell this summer.
A second provision that permitted clubs to acquire Rashford for £40m also lapsed this month. BBC Sport reveals Rashford, who has two years remaining on his deal, is "relaxed" about the prospect of reuniting with the United squad for training.
The 28-year-old is also said to enjoy a more favourable relationship with his former team-mate and new manager Carrick compared to his "confrontational relationship" with ex-United boss Ruben Amorim.
During his most recent stint away from Old Trafford, Rashford registered 14 goals and assists each for Barcelona last season, claiming the La Liga title, but didn't do enough to convince the Spanish titans to sign him.
After finishing his World Cup commitments, Rashford posted on social media: "Keep believing in us. Our time will come. Now it's time for me to rest, reflect, spend some quality time with family and friends, and come back a better version of myself."

United have swooped to sign young Tottenham talent Tynan Thompson after luring him away from their Premier League rivals.
The 18-year-old, who featured in Champions League matchday squads for Spurs last campaign, has joined for an initial £4m, plus an additional £4m in possible add-ons.
The Sun claims United have brought Thompson to Old Trafford on a "hefty" salary with the promise of promotion to the senior squad.
The winger is expected to begin his United journey with the club's U21s but be a firm part of first-team considerations. The agreement with Spurs also features a 15% sell-on provision.

Confirming the transfer, a United statement said: "Manchester United have agreed the signing of exciting young winger Tynan Thompson, subject to registration. The England youth international has joined from Tottenham Hotspur.
"The 18-year-old scored 13 goals and contributed six assists last season across Under-18s to Under-21s level, including seven goals in seven UEFA Youth League games.
"His performances earned him opportunities within Spurs' first-team matchday squads. Everyone at United would like to welcome Tynan to the club and wish him the very best of luck for the future."
