Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Manchester United-linked Crysencio Summerville. According to reports, West Ham have accepted a bid worth €80million (£68.23m) for the Holland international.
The Athletic have claimed that the Dutch star will undergo a medical ahead of a move to the Middle East after Al Hilal gazumped AS Roma and Premier League suitors, such as United, for his signature. Michael Carrick's side considered a bid for the Hammers winger, though there was no suggestion that they would rival the Serie A side after they had two offers rejected by West Ham.
The 24-year-old looked set to join Roma after Gian Piero Gasperini's side launched a transfer offensive for his services but Al Hilal are said to have swooped in for his services.
Summerville was an attractive prospect this summer after his exploits with Holland, before their shock World Cup exit to Morocco, and after Nuno Espirito Santo's side were relegated from the Premier League, last term.
Summerville is set to join the Saudi Pro League runners' up after Al-Hilal were pipped to the post by Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr.
He will be lining up alongside the likes of Ruben Neves and Karim Benzema after the pair joined the luxury exodus to the Kingdom as they prized stars from across Europe and the Premier League to their top-flight.
United's transfer business in the wide market has diminished following weeks of intense speculation. It follows the little movement surrounding Marcus Rashford, who will return to pre-season at the end of his post-World Cup break.
The 28-year-old is eyeing a route back into United's first-team after spending 18 months away from Old Trafford on loan at Aston Villa and Barcelona.
Despite winning La Liga with the Catalan giants, Hansi Flick's side opted against triggering his buyout clause, which would've made his temporary move permanent.
United traditionally give players three weeks off after featuring at major tournaments, which will see Rashford expected back in Manchester around August 10.
It means that the 28-year-old misses the majority of the pre-season preparations for United and he could only be in line to face Leeds United in the penultimate friendly.
MEN Sport reported this week that with Patrick Dorgu, Matheus Cunha and Rashford at Carrick's disposal, it is unlikely that there will be movement in that area, unless a sale for the England international is sanctioned.
It has already been a busy summer at Old Trafford with Andrey Santos joining Youri Tielemans and Karl Darlow as new arrivals.
The former Leeds United star will join highly-rated Portuguese winger Francisco Trincao as one of the marquee arrivals to the league after the 26-year-old joined Al-Ahli.
