Manchester United have added Paris Saint-Germain’s Warren Zaïre-Emery to this summer’s target list.
The Premier League side are looking to sign another midfielder, after already securing Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans.
Manchester United are in contact with Manu Koné’s agent. Both the Italian and the French media have covered their interest in the AS Roma man.
On Tuesday, Sport Witness relayed news that Koné wants to move to England and Roma are waiting for the right offer.
New midfielder target for Manchester United
The Red Devils are also looking at the PSG player. That’s according to Top Mercato, who state they are big fans of Warren Zaïre-Emery.
He graduated from the Champions League winners’ academy and made his way into the first team in 2022.
The 20-year-old has already played 183 matches for PSG, mainly as a midfielder and occasionally as a right-back. He made his senior debut for France in 2023 and played at the World Cup.
Manchester United appreciate his profile and versatility and an approach is in the works.
PSG unlikely to entertain Manchester United
Michael Carrick’s are preparing a €60m offer to gauge PSG’s intention.
The Paris club are unlikely to respond positively to Manchester United’s €60m bid also because he has a contract until 2029, with an option for another year, and Transfermarkt value him at €80m.
However, Warren Zaïre-Emery may have second thoughts if the Old Trafford club were to make an approach.
Last season, he played 4,224 minutes from 54 matches for PSG. Top Mercato explain the France international enjoyed regular minutes because Fabián Ruiz and Achraf Hakimi had injury issues.
Luis Enrique put the youngster back on the bench when the duo were available for the Champions League final win over Arsenal.
The outlet indicates the youngster’s status at PSG is fragile.
