Manchester United unveil striking blue 2026/27 away kit with adidas Trefoil logo

Manchester United have unveiled their away kit for the 2026/2027 season.

Designed by adidas, the jersey is reminiscent of the blue strip United wore in the 2016/17 season, although it features a more striking design.

The short-sleeved and long-sleeved jerseys have similar designs, but the latter feature the adidas three stripes running the full length of the sleeves.

The shirt is predominantly royal blue, with red adidas three stripes and white-and-red detailing on the collar.

It features adidas’ iconic Trefoil logo and the Snapdragon logo of Qualcomm Technologies, United’s official principal shirt partner.

Images released by the club showed Amad Diallo, Leny Yoro, Ayden Heaven, Patrick Dorgu, Bryan Mbeumo, Mateus Cunha and Bruno Fernandes modelling the new jersey.

In launching the new away kit, a club statement said: “Manchester United and adidas have unveiled the new away jersey for the 2026/27 season, in a design that revisits one of the club’s most iconic away identities through a modern lens.”

“Featuring the adidas Trefoil logo, the jersey combines elite performance innovation with a strong connection to football culture, celebrating a look that has long resonated on and off the pitch.

“Built on a bold royal blue base, the jersey brings together familiar foundations with refined textures and subtle accents, delivering a design that retains the clarity and confidence long associated with Manchester United on the road.”

Fans can now order the kit from the club’s website, though prices vary by region. It is also available at selected adidas retail locations and at adidas.com/football.

United unveiled their home jersey in May and debuted it in their final Premier League home match of the 2025/26 season against Nottingham Forest.

The Red Devils also donned the shirt in last weekend’s 1-0 pre-season friendly defeat to Championship side Wrexham.
