Paris Saint-Germain have refused to offer Juventus any discount as negotiations continue over a summer move for Randal Kolo Muani.
The French international wants to join the Bianconeri and has already agreed a five-year contract with the Bianconeri. He is now waiting for Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain to reach an agreement before completing the move to Turin.
Although Paris Saint-Germain are willing to sell the forward, they have maintained a high asking price and are not prepared to lower their valuation despite the player’s desire to leave.
Juventus Face Tough Negotiations
The Ligue 1 champions believe Kolo Muani is worth €50 million, even though he is no longer part of their plans and his contract expires in the summer of 2028.
Juventus are keen to strengthen their attacking options, but they are reluctant to meet the valuation set by the French club as discussions continue between the two sides.
According to Tuttojuve, Paris Saint-Germain believe the €50 million asking price reflects Kolo Muani’s current market value despite his underwhelming loan spell at Tottenham last season.
Alternative Targets Being Considered
Juventus do not share that assessment and believe the transfer fee is too high given the player’s recent circumstances.
The difference in valuation has slowed negotiations and created uncertainty over whether a deal can be completed before the transfer window closes.
As a result, Juventus have already started assessing alternative attacking targets in case discussions with Paris Saint-Germain fail to produce a breakthrough. While Kolo Muani remains one of their preferred options, the Bianconeri are unwilling to overpay and are prepared to pursue other opportunities if an agreement cannot be reached.
