Real Madrid are prepared to sell midfielder Aurelien to Manchester United this summer, according to The Sun.
The Red Devils have already recruited Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans to reinforce their midfield, but they are still keen on landing a specialist defensive midfielder.
Roma’s Manu Kone has been frequently linked with United in recent days, and it has been claimed that the Frenchman has given the green light to join the club too.
Amidst this, The Sun report that Los Blancos have opened the door for Tchouameni’s exit, and they are ‘willing to sell’ him to the Red Devils in the near future.
Tchouameni was reported to have agreed a new long-term deal with Madrid recently, but Los Blancos have made no formal announcement regarding a renewal.
Madrid manager Jose Mourinho would prefer to keep the 26-year-old at the club next season, but the hierarchy are prepared to cash in on him for the right price.

Tchouameni had apparently snubbed United to extend his stay at Madrid, but The Sun report differently and insist that nothing has been agreed formally over a renewal.
The news is a huge boost for the Red Devils, who are yearning for an elite number six. Tchouameni is a world-class midfielder and would transform the club into potential challengers for the Premier League.
In the recent La Liga campaign, Tchouameni had a passing accuracy of 92 percent. He was also exceptional in the air, winning an impressive 76 percent of his aerial duels per appearance.
The former Monaco man also registered two tackles, two clearances and almost five recoveries per game, and lost possession on just six occasions on average for the Madrid heavyweights.
Tchouameni would instantly become one of the best holding midfielders in the league. The big question remains what Madrid would deem as the ‘right price’ for United to secure his services.
Elliot Anderson and Morgan Rogers were recently sold for £116 million and £117 million to Manchester City and Chelsea respectively, while Sandro Tonali joined Tottenham Hotspur for £100m.
Los Blancos probably feel they can capitalise on the inflated price tags this summer.
Madrid signed Tchouameni for an initial £68m with another £17m in add-ons. They will no doubt want to recoup the entire fee spent, and could easily hold out for £100m or even more to sell him.
United have already spent £85m on landing Tielemans and Santos, and they may have to pay a club-record fee for Tchouameni, which could take up most of the remaining transfer budget.
