Manchester United have reportedly resurrected their interest in signing the Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Manchester United in recent months. The Red Devils are determined to rebuild their midfield unit this summer, and they have already signed Andre Santos and Youri Tielemans.
Carlos Baleba could be a superb signing
Baleba would be another excellent acquisition for them. The 22-year-old is a hard-working midfielder who will add physicality, defensive steel and technical ability in the middle of the park. He is excellent at driving the team forward and helping out defensively.
On paper, he could be the ideal fit alongside Santos and Tielemans. According to Sky Sports, Manchester United are now looking to revisit a deal for the Cameroon midfielder.
Manchester United are also looking at players like Manu Kone from AS Roma. It remains to be seen who they end up signing eventually. It is clear that the midfield is a priority area for them this summer.

Baleba has done well in England
Baleba has been an important performer for Brighton in the Premier League, and he is still quite young. He will only improve with coaching and experience. He is well settled in English football, and he could make an immediate impact at Manchester United.
