Man Utd have a decision to make on what to do with Marcus Rashford this summer.
A £40m release clause expired in mid-July, with there seemingly being no takers for the England international.
At the same time, the Red Devils may need a backup option for Benjamin Sesko, especially if Joshua Zirkzee does leave Old Trafford. With limited funds to spend, though, the club might only pursue a relatively cheap striker.
When we polled Man Utd fans on whether the club would be better off reintegrating Rashford or signing an experienced Premier League No. 9, the preferred option was to keep the 28-year-old:

A lot depends on whether interested clubs are willing to stump up the cash. Barcelona have previously indicated that they would take him back on loan, but that isn’t an option United would seriously consider.
The fact that the La Liga champions have now signed Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund makes a move for Rashford even less likely.
The forward has also made it clear that he prefers to move abroad, which means the likelihood of him accepting an offer from another Premier League club is low. For the moment, at least, it seems he is staying in Manchester.
Carrick is happy to keep him at Man Utd
From the looks of things, manager Michael Carrick has no issue reintegrating Rashford into the first team squad, but you do feel that his opinion may change if he sees the player isn’t fully committed to the club.
A lot could still happen with over a month left in the transfer window, so you can’t completely rule out a departure – either permanently or on loan – at this stage.
