Middlesbrough have been credited with interest in a Hull City and Celtic-linked goalkeeper
Middlesbrough have reportedly held initial conversations with Manchester United regarding a potential move for Radek Vitek.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper spent last season on loan at Bristol City, enjoying a stellar campaign between the sticks at Ashton Gate.
He has been tipped for a bright future but does not appear to be on the cusp of becoming Manchester United’s number one.
Hull City and Celtic have both been linked with the former Czech Republic youth international, who could reportedly move for around £15m.

Teesside Live have now claimed Middlesbrough have held talks regarding a permanent move for the highly-rated stopper.
There is not thought to have been any progression beyond talks and the report has indicated there are several interested clubs.
Middlesbrough are widely expected to get a goalkeeper on board this summer following the expiry of Joe Wildsmith’s loan deal. Vitek would most likely be going in to compete for minutes with Sol Brynn, who would have a fierce competitor in the Red Devils prospect.
Radek Vitek’s stance
He has already made it clear he wants to be a first-choice stopper and has even conceded he is ready to leave Old Trafford on a permanent basis.
As reported by the BBC after Manchester United’s friendly loss to Wrexham on July 18, he said: “I feel great and ready to go again somewhere to hopefully be number one. I hope there will be some interest. I think you will know when the things are more concrete."

When asked if he would prefer to depart temporarily or permanently, Vitek responded: “I'm ready for both to be fair. It depends on what the club wants and also depends on the options and, yeah, we'll see.
“There's been a few interests on the table, but we're hoping to get the best one and hopefully it will happen soon. I want to play every week and that's the goal for next season. Hopefully I find out soon where that's going to be.”
