Joao Mario is set to leave Juventus this summer as Luciano Spalletti does not view him as a player to include in his squad plans.
The defender joined Juventus just a year ago, but after Spalletti became the manager, he decided that the Portuguese star was not the right fit for his team. The coach wants a different full-back to occupy the right back position and has brought in Zeki Celik, whom he considers the best option for the role.

This decision means Mario will have to leave despite performing well during his loan spell with Bologna in the second half of last season. His performances showed his ability, but Juventus are now looking to make changes to their squad under Spalletti.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Juventus have been in discussions with Fiorentina over a season-long loan move to Florence, and an agreement is practically complete at this stage. The clubs have secured a deal, and they will now move forward with completing the transfer.
Mario is reportedly excited about the opportunity to join Fiorentina because he understands that remaining in Turin would limit his chances of regular playing time. The defender has therefore opened the door to a move as soon as possible.
More Juventus exits expected
