Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee continues to attract interest from Italy, with Como emerging as his newest suitor.
After spearheading Bologna’s charge toward the Champions League, the 25-year-old joined the Premier League giants in the summer of 2024 on a deal worth £36.5 million.
However, the Dutchman hasn’t been able to replicate his Serie A exploits at Old Trafford.

Zirkzee was initially brought on during Erik ten Hag’s tenure, but his compatriot was sacked a few months later, making way for Ruben Amorim.
The Bayern Munich youth product had his highs and lows under the Portuguese manager before falling completely off the radar following Michael Carrick’s appointment in January.
The versatile attacker began his pre-season on a positive note, putting on a wonderful display in Saturday’s 6-0 win over Rosenborg, highlighted by an astonishing solo goal.
At this stage, these pre-season displays could prove too little too late to salvage the player’s Man Utd career, but they could earn him new suitors.

Zirkzee has always been popular among the Serie A elite, and Juventus have reportedly revived their interest in him.
But during his latest appearance on Fabrizio Romano’s Italian YouTube channel, Matteo Moretto revealed that Como could also join the fray.
Cesc Fabregas’ side is the fastest-rising power in Italian football, and after qualifying for the Champions League, they’re looking to bolster their ranks with a new striker.
While Fiorentina’s Moise Kean remains their top target, the Italian journalist claims the Lombardians are also tracking Zirkzee.
Should Man Utd offload Zirkzee?
Although the promising signs displayed in early pre-season could give the club a halt, Zirkzee will likely remain behind Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha in the pecking order, not to mention the returning Marcus Rashford.
Therefore, a separation appears to be in everyone’s best interest: It would allow the player to revive his career elsewhere as he prepares to enter his peak years, and it would free up some space in Carrick’s squad.
After all, United could do with an additional attacker, ideally someone capable of covering various roles.
