Real Madrid are exploring the sale of Manchester United target Eduardo Camavinga, according to Spanish journalist Sergio Valentin.
The 23-year-old has been with Madrid since 2021, but his future has been speculated about in recent weeks after Jose Mourinho’s appointment as the manager.
The Portuguese tactician has already spoken to Camavinga and explained that he would struggle for regular playing time under his tutelage next season.
Los Blancos are considering the possibility of selling the Frenchman, but the Rennes graduate has no plans to leave the La Liga heavyweights at of now.
United should pounce if Camavinga opts to leave Madrid
The Red Devils have already signed two top-class midfielders in Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, and they are now looking for a specialist number six.
Madrid’s Aurelien Tchouameni has been constantly linked with the club over the past month or so, but United believe they won’t be able to afford him.
On the other hand, Camavinga could be more within reach, with Los Blancos prepared to accept a package between £43-51m for the ex-Rennes ace.
United have already discussed internally about a move for Camavinga, and he is reportedly one of the top names on their wishlist for the third midfield signing.
As things stand, Camavinga has no desire to move on, but his situation could change in the coming weeks, particularly if Madrid were to purchase Manchester City’s Rodri.

The 23-year-old is a good ball-playing midfielder with a tireless work rate. He completed 92 percent of his passes in La Liga last term, while winning 63 percent duels.
Camavinga also won two tackles and three recoveries per appearance, and was brilliant with the ball at his feet too, losing possession fewer than five times on average.
With his young age and immense potential, Camavinga would be a perfect signing and could establish himself as the first-choice holding midfielder under manager Michael Carrick.
