Manchester United are prepared to part ways with left-back Harry Amass on a permanent deal, according to The Athletic.
The 19-year-old is regarded as one of the promising graduates from the academy, but it appears his future could be away from the club.
The Athletic claim that the teenager could leave during the ongoing transfer window, with several Championship teams interested in him.
United are said to prefer a permanent transfer for £6m for the left-back, who provided a fine assist during the recent 5-0 win over Rosenborg.

The youngster’s potential has been talked about. He made seven appearances for United during the 2024/25 season under manager Ruben Amorim.
Amass left for Wednesday on loan during the first half of last season. He was a standout player for the financially hit outfit until the start of the year.
United recalled and sent him to Norwich City. He made just a solitary appearance for them before suffering a season-ending hamstring injury.
Amass has fully recovered for United’s pre-season. The decision to sell may suggest that the youngster wants regular first-team football in his young career.
When everyone is available, Amass could find himself as the third-choice left-back behind Luke Shaw and Patrick Dorgu under manager Michael Carrick.
Noussair Mazraoui could play there too, meaning Amass may struggle for regular playing time.
If United are planning to sell him to a Championship outfit, the hierarchy should include a buy-back clause for the future as well as a huge sell-on clause.
In that way, they stand to benefit either way. If Amass develops into a top-quality left-back, United would have the option to re-sign him to replace an ageing Shaw in future.
They could also benefit financially if Amass ends up joining another Premier League outfit or moves abroad at a later stage in his playing career.
