Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans have already come through the door this summer, yet Carrick still lacks a genuine holding midfielder.
Back in 2022, Los Blancos paid Monaco around £68 million to bring in Aurelien Tchouameni. That same number is now being used for a possible sale.
