Manchester United are reportedly ‘considering a bid’ for Bournemouth’s Tyler Adams.
That’s according to talkSPORT this morning, which adds that INEOS view the Cherries star as a ‘cheaper alternative’ to targets such as Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and Manu Kone.

However, Bournemouth have sought to squash speculation that a fee in the region of £35 million would be enough to prise Adams from the Vitality Stadium – and they’re also uninterested in facilitating his departure anyway.
The 27-year-old has been an integral cog at the heart of Bournemouth’s midfield since signing from Leeds United, where he spent only one season, in 2023.
This summer, he also played a pivotal role for Mauricio Pochettino as the United States reached the last-16 of the World Cup as one of the host nations.

How has Adams fared in the Premier League?
United have already added two Premier League-proven midfielders to their ranks this transfer window in the form of Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans for £50m and £35m, respectively.
Tielemans boasts much more experience in the top flight than his fellow newly-signed counterpart, while Adams has spent the last four seasons plying his trade in the EPL.

The American has racked up 80 appearances in the competition and 6,019 minutes of action on the pitch, returning two goals and five assists in that time.
Adams is tied to the Dorset outfit until June 2028, so now is perhaps the time his value would be at the highest, as suitors won’t want to pay too high a fee the closer he gets to the end of his contract.
Moving to United would allow the New York Red Bulls graduate to feature in the Champions League again, having only previously done so during his stint with RB Leipzig.
